Airbourne - Runnin' Wild
Personally , My Own Big Barbel Quest has not been going to well of recent. However , there is still plenty of time left as we enter possibly the best time for bagging a lump. It is fare to say I have had my chances , but alas I have been smashed to bits on two occasions. It is all a bit frustrating for I know deep down inside that they were both possibly double figure fish.
My Angling Colleagues on the other hand , have been faring much better and have all achieved Double Delights even with the Rivers being painfully low.
Slash Yarwood is currently flitting between two local rivers and has landed a string of 9 s plus a 10 lb 9 oz Beauty. Someone ( naming no names lol ) put him onto a new bait and bingo he hit the jackpot on the third time of asking.

Three Great Fish for Slash as they receive The Hard Stare Treatment.
Neil Lissaman and his co host Baz have been putting in a bit of time on The Wye and have had some Great Success. Neil however stayed a bit closer to home and smashed his Personal Best with a 11 lb 15 oz Specimen. We will have to imagine how fantastic it was as Neil left his camera at home but here is another super looking whisker and one for Baz not to be out done.
Neil looks Delighted
Baz and a Wye Stunner.
Stew Moss is no stranger to Big Barbel and his has just managed a brace of fish from a notoriously hard venue with fish of 11 lb 10 plus a Monster of 14 lbs 14 ozs. Fantastic Angling by any ones Standards.
Two Dream Captures for Stew.
Keep going boys you are pushing the bar higher and higher.
Fantastic Whisker Fishing !!!!!
